In the height of summer, we are glad to hear that things are going well for you. CASHI will hold a solo exhibition of Tetsuomi Sukeda entitled “On the other side after the sunset” from September 5th to 27th.
Tetsuomi Sukeda was born in 1985, received the Grand Prix at the Recruit Guardian Garden “25th Photography Hitotsubo Exhibition” in 2005, and became recognized. After winning the Grand Prix, he also won several prizes, and he maintains energetic activities both in Japan and abroad.
Sukeda’s photography created by sticking to a specific person as a subject, projecting himself onto the subject, and powered by memory from the past are all filled with fertile story lines and closely composed for a photography including the one seemingly a snapshot.
The temptation of “desire to see the scenery beyond the subject” provokes even memories of the observers and shows unlimited possibility going far beyond the borders of photography media.
This exhibition is going to be composed of new photography group display and installation using small rooms. Please do not miss the exhibition which will be the solo exhibition of Tetsuomi Sukeda in two years.
The photographer will also come to the gallery for the reception on September 5th, the first day. We would like to invite you to come to the exhibition and would like you to inform it to others.
