CASHI would like to announce our upcoming exhibition “Straight grass” by four young male artists. Although you may imagine “herbivore men” from such words as “grass”, “young” and “male”, the artists we will introduce here are single-minded on the contrary and grow straightly like a rush.
Shotaro Hokari will present a highly rising new sculpture like a saint figure; Yugo Kohrogi will present the large painting which was exhibited at ULTRA last year and surprised us for the gap to his previous series; Satoshi Miyata, as the first presentation at CASHI, will show a new work “Paper” for which he makes Japanese paper out of his daily life; and Keita Sugiura will present small works which he locks his popular series “Dark Forest” with black boxes.
The reception party will be held on 15th January, the second Friday.The artists will also join, so please come and see this exhibition.
